ISO in Action
When Thames Side Sensors Ltd acquired the process weighing load cell assets of Thames Side-Maywood Ltd in 2006, speedy accreditation to ISO9000 for their quality management system and ATEX certification of their product range was seen as vitally important, to portray the quality ethic of the new business and meet the demand from customers for certified load cell products for use in intrinsically safe environments.
After some careful investigation of the certification services available, Sira was chosen as the company’s Notified Body as they offered a cost-effective dual certification service.
